Mealworm Frass is a fantastic all-natural, organic fertilizer for gardens, lawns, potted plants, and more!

It has an N-P-K value of 2-3-2, so you can feel confident knowing it will only benefit your plants, with no risk of over fertilizing.

No preparation is needed, simply sprinkle it directly into your garden or potting soil, then either water it in or let the next rain take care of it!

Additional benefits of Mealworm Frass Fertilizer:

  • Odorless and dry, with a sandy/powdery consistency + texture
  • Pesticide and fungicide free
  • Contains no chemicals at all, just pure mealworm Frass (poop)
  • Does not contain insects, so no risk of introducing new insects into your garden or potted plants
  • Has a neutral pH
  • Supports plant growth, especially for plants under stress
  • Contains beneficial microbes for plant growth and production
  • No nitrates, heavy metals, methane, or nitrous-oxide emissions
  • Will not burn your plants
  • Comes as a dry powder, so it is very easy to apply
  • Water-soluble for use in hydroponics and fertigation
  • Contains chitin

What is chitin? Chitin is the shed exoskeleton of mealworms (exoskeleton is the protective layer or skin that mealworms shed every time they grow or move into their next stage of development).

As a completely natural and organic soil enhancer, chitin offers a multitude of advantages. These include mitigating the impact of light and transplant shock, thwarting the proliferation of harmful soil bacteria, enhancing plant vitality and resilience, fostering root development and fungal colonization, all while accelerating growth rates.

How to use Frass Fertilizer:

  • Top-dress - sprinkle on the surface and water thoroughly
  • When transplanting, add a pinch under roots
  • Mix in with potting or garden soil - add 1.5 cups per cubic foot (7 gallons) of soil prior to planting
  • Mix in with "seed starter soil" as a gentle growth accelerator for seedlings

Sold in 2-lb bags.
